# AI agents for marketing teams

Generative AI made content cheap to produce and expensive to check. A marketing team now spends its time on review: is the claim true, is it on brand, did the campaign work. AI agents can do much of that checking and the reporting around it. Infosistema connects them to your content, CRM and analytics systems, with the product facts and brand rules your company already owns.

## At a glance

- Infosistema connects AI agents to the content, CRM, marketing automation, analytics and website systems of marketing teams.
- Typical first processes are content production with claim and brand checks, campaign and web reporting, target-account lists from official company data, localisation, and making the company's website readable to AI assistants.
- Every agent that drafts public content checks each product claim against a source of truth the product teams own, and a person approves what's published.
- Every engagement starts with a three-week analysis sprint that ends in a decision per process, with a baseline for time and rework.
- Infosistema's Google Center of Excellence brings BigQuery, Looker and Gemini to marketing data and agents on Google Cloud.

## Which marketing tasks can an AI agent take on?

The checking, assembling and reporting around the creative work. These 5 are where we start.

### Content with claim and brand checks

The agent drafts or reviews posts, pages and emails against your messaging guidelines, checks every product claim (features, certifications, prices) against a facts file the product teams maintain, and blocks anything that contradicts it.

- **Stays with people:** the idea, the final edit and the decision to publish.
- **Systems:** content repository or CMS, product facts, brand and style guides.

### Campaign and web reporting

The agent pulls results from ads, email, web analytics and the CRM every week, writes the commentary on what changed and why, and flags campaigns that are under target.

- **Stays with people:** budget decisions and conclusions.
- **Systems:** ad platforms, marketing automation, web analytics, CRM, BigQuery and Looker.

### Target-account lists

The agent builds and refreshes account lists from official company data (status, activity code, size, annual accounts), matches them to your CRM and removes companies that closed or changed.

- **Stays with people:** the ideal customer profile and the final list.
- **Systems:** CRM, [bizAPIs](https://www.infosistema.com/products/bizapis/) for official Portuguese company data.

### Localisation

The agent adapts content to each language and market with your glossary and product names fixed, and marks the passages that need a native reviewer.

- **Stays with people:** final review in each language.
- **Systems:** CMS, translation memory, glossary.

### A website AI assistants can read

The agent keeps the structured layer of your site current: page summaries, FAQ and service markup, `llms.txt`, and checks that what assistants say about your company matches your facts.

- **Stays with people:** messaging and what the company claims.
- **Systems:** CMS, site build, product facts.

## What makes agents hard to run in marketing?

Claims, consent and the brand, in that order: a false claim is a legal problem before it's a marketing one.

- **Claims must be true.** EU consumer law treats unsubstantiated or misleading claims as unfair practice. An agent that writes fast and checks nothing multiplies that risk; ours check every product claim against an owned source.
- **EU AI Act transparency.** AI-generated images, audio and video that look real must be disclosed, and so must AI-generated text published to inform the public, unless a person reviews it and takes editorial responsibility.
- **GDPR and ePrivacy.** Targeting and outreach need a lawful basis and consent where required. Agents work only with data your policies allow.
- **Brand voice.** Generic AI copy is easy to spot. Agents work from your style guide and a list of banned phrases, and a person edits before anything goes out.

## How does Infosistema start?

With a three-week analysis sprint on one marketing area, for example content production or reporting.

1. **Week 1:** map the processes, tools and approvals, and short-list up to five candidates.
2. **Week 2:** score each process for impact and readiness and analyse it step by step against a baseline: hours per piece, review rounds, time to report.
3. **Week 3:** estimate build and monthly operation per agent, then recommend agent, agent with conditions, classic automation, or not yet.

Quick wins, such as the weekly report, can start in supervised mode from week 2.

## How does Infosistema use agents in its own marketing?

We don't have a published client case in marketing yet, so here is our own. Infosistema's marketing content for its products is drafted and reviewed with AI agents. Before anything is published, each product claim is checked automatically against a facts file that the product team owns, and copy is checked against a list of banned phrases. A person edits and approves every piece, and this page went through the same 2 checks before it was published.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can AI agents write our marketing content?

They can draft and check it. A person should own the idea, the final edit and the decision to publish, and every product claim should be checked against a source your product teams own.

### How do we stop an AI from making false claims about our products?

Give the agent a source of truth and make it a gate: a facts file per product with capabilities, certifications and prices, maintained by the product team, and an automatic check that blocks content contradicting it.

### Do we have to label AI-generated content?

Under the EU AI Act, realistic AI-generated images, audio and video must be disclosed, and so must AI-generated text published to inform the public unless a person has reviewed it and takes editorial responsibility. LinkedIn, Meta and Google also have their own labelling rules for each format.

### How do we make our website visible to ChatGPT, Gemini and other assistants?

Keep the copy in server-rendered HTML, answer real questions in plain sentences, add FAQ and service markup, publish an `llms.txt`, and keep every claim consistent with your facts. An agent can maintain that layer and check what assistants say about you.

### What does marketing need from IT to start?

Read access to the content, CRM and analytics tools in scope, and a named owner for brand rules and product facts. The analysis sprint confirms the rest in week 1.
