What is bizAPIs?
bizAPIs is a catalogue of data APIs for automation. Each API retrieves one piece of official business information — a company's status, its integrated tax position, its annual accounts (IES), its beneficial owners (RCBE), a land-registry certificate — and returns it as structured data that a bank, insurer or ERP can use straight away in an automated process.

How does bizAPIs work?
- Each data source is exposed as a REST service: a
POSTrequest with a JSON body, authenticated with an API key sent as a Bearer token. - The typical input is a company or person identifier (for example a NIF). Services that access a data owner's own portal area use credentials provided with the owner's consent — and those credentials are never stored or persisted.
- Responses return structured data and, where required, PDF printouts of the source pages as proof of source.
- Services can apply client business rules — aggregations, calculated fields and lookups — before returning the result.
- A developer portal documents every service, with examples, status codes and the two-factor flow used for Tax Authority services.
Which data sources does bizAPIs cover?
- Tax Authority (Autoridade Tributária): integrated tax position, IRS and IRC, VAT situation and periodic returns, tax debt, alerts and notifications, payment references (IMI, IRC, IRS, IUC, IVA).
- Social Security: current situation, no-debt status, documents and TSU payment references.
