What does DMM do?
DMM enables data and BPT / Light-BPT migration across, into and out of OutSystems environments — Cloud, OnPrem, Hybrid and PaaS — across database types and across Java and .NET stacks, using a simple user interface instead of custom scripts.
How does DMM help with GDPR and data governance?
Beyond migration, DMM provides data control and governance: anonymization, data scramble and deletion to comply with GDPR, LGPD and RGPD, plus bulk import of data from non-OutSystems sources and export features.
How does DMM handle large and recurring migrations?
Large tables are migrated in chunks, in parallel, with automatic detection of entity dependencies, data filtering and user-mapped tables. Delta (incremental) migration moves only what changed, and executions can be scheduled through OutSystems Timers or triggered by API calls. Health check, comparator and dashboard tools help validate the result.
Where can DMM send data?
Besides OutSystems-to-OutSystems migration, DMM imports data from non-OutSystems sources and exports data as CSV, to external databases (including PostgreSQL), SFTP or Amazon S3. Supported databases are SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL (MySQL as a source).
